L. NALE Huntingdon, Pa. Plant Manager: He was born at Huntingdon, Pa., Sept. 1, 1896, a son of Lemuel L. Nale, who has been with the Penna. R.R. for forty-eight years. His father was a Civil War veteran. Lemuel Nale married Minnie Weaver, whose father also was a Civil War veteran. C. L. Nale received his education at Huntingdon, Pa. He was with the J. C. Blair Co. for three years; also in the employ of the Lorraine Steel Co. He was a motor inspector for the Otis Steel Co., Cleveland, Ohio, for two years; for four years was on truck duty for the Sinclair Refining Co., and has for the last five years been the plant manager for the above named company. On account of leakage of heart was rejected in World War, but did his bit with the Aetna Explosives Co., at Mount Union, Pa. He was a millwright in the acid department. He is a member of the P.O.S. of A. Camp, No. 321, Huntingdon, Pa. A Republican. Belongs to the First M. E. Church of Huntingdon, Pa.; wife is also a member. He has two brothers: John, Sunbury, Pa., married to Mary Corbin, manager of Independent Oil Co.; Fred, Pittsburgh, Pa., a foreman with the Westinghouse Co. Has three sisters: Edna, married to Ralph Hartman, Huntingdon, Pa.; Helen, married to T. A. Duffy, Huntingdon, Pa.; Ethel, West Chester, married to D. B. Zentmyer. C. L. Nale was married to Lillian Hester Fegley, a daughter of Daniel Fegley. Mr. and Mrs. Nale have one daughter at the same place; he was thirteen live [sic] at 310 Penn street, Huntingdon, Pa. Note: The 1920 Huntingdon Ward 3, Huntingdon county census lists Lemuel (55), Minnie (48), Carl (23), John (20), Fred (17), and Edna (15) Nale, with Thomas (26, son-in-law), Helen (26, daughter), and Jean (1 10/12, granddaughter) Duffy.
