Ticket, Freight and Express Agent: Was born in Orbisonia, Huntingdon Co., Pa., in 1898. A son of James P. Noble, of Scotch-Irish and Nellie May (Weller) of German descent. Both are living at Orbisonia, Pa. Charles Noble received his first schooling at Orbisonia and also attended the Millersville Normal. Was employed in general office of the East Broad Top R.R. for seven years, and in 1925 succeeded C.C. Kough, deceased. Has been with the company twelve years. Belongs to the Presbyterian church of Orbisonia. Attends Methodist Sunday School at Robertsdale. Has served as clerk on election board at Orbisonia. During the World War was a student at Millersville, Pa. Belongs to the I.O.O.F., No. 640, Orbisonia, and also the American Legion, Orbisonia, Pa. Is a Republican. Has two brothers: James B., married to Naomi Rodgers, Shade Gap, Pa.; Ira W., at home, Orbisonia, Pa. One brother, Dean, deceased. has three sisters: Lenna Foust, Esther Galbraith, and Helen M., all of Orbisonia, Pa. Charles Armour Noble was married to Alverta Brown, a daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Brown, of Robertsdale, Pa. They have one son, Vincent Armour, one years. Mr. Noble has been a faithful employee of the company and has given good service.
