E. PATTERSON Alexandria, Pa. Garage and Service Station: Born at Richfield, Juniata Co., Pa., November 8th, 1883. A son of George Patterson, deceased, and Lizzie (Zeiders) Patterson, deceased, September, 1928, of Richfield, Juniata Co., Pa. C. E. Patterson began his early schooling in the schools of Richfield, and later on became interested in automobile repairing, being employed at Petersburg, and Huntingdon, Pa. In 1919 established this well known garage, known as Patterson's Garage, which can accommodate forty cars. Repairing is carried on extensively; a full line of accessories are carried in stock, tires, tubes, oils, greases, etc.; an expert mechanic is employed. He sells the Whippet and Willys- Knight car. He belongs to the American Automobile Association, the I.O.O.F., No. 286, Alexandria, Pa. Is a Republican. Has four brothers: George, married to Pearle Hetrick, Reedsville, Pa.; William, Yeagertown, Pa.; Harry, Yeagertown, Pa.; Allen, Ashtabula, Ohio. Two sisters: Mary, married to Kreig Reddy, Yeagertown, Pa.; Jane, married to Roland Wagner, Lewistown, Pa. Mr. Patterson was married to Mabel Eckley, Milroy, Pa. One daughter, Madeline, a Junior at Alexandria High School. He belongs to the Petersburg Lutheran Church, is an industrious citizen and highly respected. Note: Charles E. (34), Mabel (36), and Madeline M. (8) Patterson are listed in the 1930 Petersburg, Huntingdon County census.
