Ticket Clerk: David Edmund Pick was born at White Deer, Union County, Pa., March 23, 1891. A son of John Pick, and Alice (Levan) Pick (American born), residing at Watsontown, Pa. David Pick graduated at Beaver Springs High School and took preparatory work at the Summer Normal School at Middleburg, Pa. Taught school seven years, six years in Rural District in Snyder County, and one year in grade school; during the World War was stationed at McClure as clerk; also at Reedsville as general clerk; one year at Mt. Union, Pa. Has been with the Penna. R.R. for a period of twelve years; at present is ticket clerk at Huntingdon, Pa.; was secretary for township road supervisors at Reedsville for three years. Belongs to the Reformed Church at Troxelsville, Pa.; wife belongs to Evangelical Church at Troxelsville, Pa. He is a member of the I.O.O.F., No. 97, Lewistown, Pa. A member of the Democratic party. Has three brothers: Charles, at Evanston, Ill.; Merril, at Wynnewood, Calif.; Elwood, at home. One sister, Bernice, married to Leon Renninger, McClure, Pa. He was married to Nellie J. Getz, of Benfer, Snyder Co., Pa. Have two children, Ethel J., and Holmes E., fourteen years. A faithful and trusted employee, obliging to the public with whom he comes in contact.
