E. ROBERTSON Blair's Mills, Huntingdon Co., Pa. Cashier: He was born at Orbisonia, Pa., February 24, 1879, a son of William Robertson, a Justice of the Peace and Notary Public for twenty years; a farmer and school teacher. Died in 1925, at the age of eighty years. He married Elizabeth Reed, who died in 1903, at the age of sixty-two years. J. E. Robertson received his early education at the Burns Valley School, Franklin Co., Pa. He then attended the Dry Run Academy, Franklin Co., Pa. He was for a time with the Westinghouse Electric Co., Pittsburgh, Pa. he succeeded G. B. M. Kepler as cashier of the Tuscarora Bank at Blair's Mills, Huntingdon Co., Pa., which was established in 1898. He has served as school director of Tell Township. An elder in the Presbyterian church; wife also belongs to the same church. A Republican. He has one brother, J. N. Robertson, married to Mary Welker, of Franklin Co., Pa.; one brother, A. C. Robertson, died at the age of twenty years. One sister, Irene, married to W. O. Shoemaker, Dry Run, Pa.; one sister died in infancy. J. E. Robertson was married to Margaret Lauthers, a daughter of James T. (deceased) and Annie Lauthers, Doylesburg, Franklin Co., Pa. They have one son, John Hayes, at Dry Run High School. Two daughters: Dorothy E., a Junior at Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa.; Margaret, eight years. The personnel or governing body of the Tuscarora Bank is as follows: President, J. C. Robertson; Vice-President, J. A. Swan; Cashier, J. E. Robertson; Assistant Cashier, D. E. McMinn. Directors: J. E. Campbell, J. H. Lauthers, J. A. Swan, J. S. McMath, W. F. Simonton and J. C. Robertson. Note: John Robertson, 40, Margaret Robertson, 33, Dorothy Robertson, 16, and John T. Robertson, 8, appear in the 1920 Tell Township, Huntingdon County census.
