ROBINSON Mount Union, Pa. Passenger and Freight Agent: He was born at Salisbury, Somerset Co., Pa., a son of Geo. W. Robinson, a Civil War veteran, Co. A, 2nd Reg. Pa. Vols; served in Army of the Potomac; was a lumber and building contractor; deceased, aged fifty-five years. His wife was Lucretia Brown, now living at Salisbury. Albert M. Robinson began his educational career at the Salisbury Grade Schools. Graduated from Juniata College in the Normal English course, class of 1906, and at the same time took a business course at Juniata College, and completed the course in six months. This is a record that will stand for a long time. Many students find it hard to pursue one course at a time, but he mastered two. he accepted a position with the P.R.R. as clerk at Huntingdon, Pa., after which he was promoted to Mount Union, Pa., as general passenger and freight agent, filling this position with satisfaction to the company and the public. Belongs to Church of the Brethren; wife also; was Superintendent of the Sunday School. A member of the P.O.S. of A., Port Royal, Pa., Camp 259; Knights of Pythias, Blue Cross, Huntingdon Pa.; Juniata Country Club; Chamber of Commerce; President Mount Union Club. A Republican. One brother, Jacob Henry, a building contractor, Salisbury, Somerset Co., Pa. Four sisters: Virginia, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Rhoda, Akron, Ohio; Sue, Northfield, Ohio; Sadie, Kenmore, Ohio. Albert N. Robinson was married to Jeanette Woods, daughter of Thomas E. and Clarissa Woods, Henderson Township, Huntingdon Co., Pa. They have one son, Woods A., a Freshman, Mount Union High School, fourteen years of age. Mr. Robinson is a quiet and thorough business man.
