B. ROBINSON Neelyton, Huntingdon Co., Pa. Merchant: He was born October 15, 1879, on a farm at Waterloo, Juniata Co., Pa. A son of Robert and Sarah (Rice) Robinson; they were farmers all their lives. Robert Robinson owned a farm of one hundred and forty acres. Both he and his wife are deceased. A. B. Robinson began his schooling at the Ross School, Juniata County, Pa. He remained on the farm until the age of twenty-two years. For eight years he was with the Standard Steel Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., and for a period of time at Butler, Pa., with the Pressed Steel Car Company. A member of the Methodist Church; his wife also; the I.O.O.F. of McKees Rocks, Pa. His brothers are: Nevin, married to Renie Stitt, Neelyton, Pa.; Worl, married to Etta Walls; they are farmers, at Waterloo, Juniata County, Pa. Two brothers deceased. Charles, died at the age of sixteen years; Norton, died at the age of sixteen years. Two sisters: Bessie, married to Van McMath, Port Royal, Pa., retired; Elizabeth, married to William Stitt, with E.B.T.R.R.; one sister, Uova, deceased. A. B. Robinson was married to Edith Thatcher, a daughter of Solomon and Jane Thatcher. They have one daughter, Zola Arlene, one year old. Mr. Robinson, in 1916, took over the Stitt store at Neelyton, Pa., and conducts a mercantile business and garage, and has met with much success. He comes of a sturdy class of people. His father was a Civil War veteran, of the 51st Regiment, Pa. Vol. Inf. Arthur B. Robinson, 10, Edith T. Robinson, 38, Zola A. Robinson, 1 6/12, and Jane L. Thatcher, 58, appear in the 1930 Dublin Township, Huntingdon County census.
