Mount Union, Pa. Dentist: Occupying a position of prominence in the dental profession is Dr. Fearn Samuel Russler, located in the Saxe building, Mount Union, Pa., where he has built up a lucrative practice, with up-to-date methods. He was born in Mifflin Co., Pa. Commenced school at Huntingdon, Pa., grade schools; continued to advance until graduation, taking the Academic course in 1917. Attended Juniata College; considered taking up practice of medicine; attended Hahnemann Medical College, after which he came to the conclusion that the dental profession was more to his liking. Entered the University of Pittsburgh and received his degree. Was a dental clinic at Western State Institution, after which for a period of one year was at the Pennsylvania Industrial Reformatory, as Dental Clinic. John W. Russler was his father, and he was married to Rena Axe, of Mifflin Co., Pa. Dr. Russler is a Lutheran; member of the Huntingdon church; also member of the Sunday School; has served on Huntingdon election board for two terms. Was in Medical Corps, 1st Regiment, Armory at Philadelphia and at Camp Dix. Is a Mason, Mount Moriah, No. 300, Huntingdon, Pa.; Harrisburg Consistory, and Chapter, at Huntingdon, Pa. Is for the best man in politics. Plays baseball as a recreation. Dr. Russler first established an office in Mount Union, Pa., in what was known as the Presbyterian parsonage; later the building was reconstructed, he moving to his present location in the Saxe building, where he caters to first- class patronage. Dr. Russler was married to Dorothy M. Kyler, of Huntingdon, Pa., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Kyler. No. 1210 Mifflin Street, Huntingdon, Pa.
