I. SCHELL Huntingdon, Pa. Carpenter: J. I. Schell was born in Tell Township, March 27, 1892; his mother died in 1894, aged twenty-nine years; he was two years of age when she died. His father is George W. Schell, of Aitch Postoffice; an extensive farmer; has been a farmer all his life; of German ancestry. J. I. Schell received his schooling in Penn Township; has been a farmer; a clerk at Altoona; was with the Grand Union Tea Co. for three years; had a route between Saxton and Shirleysburg, Pa.; at present is a carpenter; has been for the last five years; belongs to the Fifteenth Street Methodist Church; also his wife. During the World War was a farmer. He has two brothers: Samuel, with Reeves, Parvin & Co., lives at 1600 Moore St., Huntingdon, Pa.; Fred, on farm; one brother deceased, Robert, aged two years. Has one sister, Elizabeth Jane, married to Linton Hoover, a plumber. J. I. Schell married Gertrude Schultz, a daughter of Luther and Dessa Schultz; they had one son, Elwood, who died at the age of four years. Baseball he delights in. Mr. Schell is an industrious man. Note: Irvin J. Schell, carpenter, 38, Gertrude Schell, 38, and Lillian Schultz, 20, are listed in the 1930 Huntingdon, Huntingdon County census.
