MARY E. SHULTZ Entriken, Pa. Postmistress: Mrs. Mary E. Shultz was born at Entriken, Huntingdon County, Pa. A daughter of Daniel and Catharine (Grove) Baughman, the father living at Everett, Assistant Superintendent of the Everett Furnace. His wife died in 1915, aged forty-nine years. Parents on both sides were Civil War veterans. Daniel Baughman died in 1927; Samuel Grove died in 1897. Dewald F. Shultz was made postmaster at Entriken, from 1904 to 1913; died in 1913; succeeded by Elmer E. Shultz, husband of Mrs. Mary Shultz; he served as postmaster for thirteen years; died January 30, 1925, and was succeeded by his wife, July 11 1924, who now is the present postmistress; also conducts a general merchandise business. Mrs. Shultz is a member of the Reformed church of Entriken, St. Matthews, as was also her husband. Both were interested in Christian Endeavor work in the church. She has two brothers: George G., married to Blanche Brallier, Jennertown, Pa.; Chas. I., married to Annie Hoover, Saxton, Pa. One brother, Samuel, deceased, 1918, a victim of the flu, aged twenty-four years. Mrs. Shultz was married to Elmer E. Shultz, as stated above. He died of diabetes. Two sons, Paul G., twelve years of age, at school; Elmer E., Jr., at school. One daughter, Catharine, a Junior in the Saxton High School. Mr. Shultz when, living, was member of the P.O.S. of A., Camp 79, Hopewell; also of the Red Men, Marklesburg, Pa.
