Pay Roll Clerk and Stenographer: Was born at Bedford County, Pa., January 21, 1887. Early schooling in Bedford county. He is one of twin brothers; Albert Roy is deceased; died at age of six months. A son of Arnold L. and Ella (Harklerode) Tewell, who died in 1898, aged thirty-eight years. The father is living at Cheneyville, Bedford County, Pa.; owns a farm of four hundred acres. Was Sealer of Weights and Measures for ten years. Coyle Harris Tewell graduated from the Tri-State Business College, Cumberland, Md., in 1907. Was with the General Refractories Company, Claysburg, Pa., for a period of four years. In 1923 accepted a position with the Rockhill Coal and Iron Company, the position he now holds. During the World War was with the Cameron Clay Products Company, Cameron, Pa. Is a Republican; served as inspector on election board of Southampton township, Bedford County, Pa. Has one brother, Howard S., Erie, Pa. George William is deceased; died at the age of twenty-two years. Two sisters deceased: Mary, thirteen, and Cora, four years. He was married to Nora Bartholow, daughter of Michael and Atsy Bartholow. One son, Kenneth Harris, twelve years, at school. Four daughters, M. Eunice, graduated Robertsdale High School; also graduated Catherman's Business College, Cumberland, Md.; now with Cessna-Magrudger Company, Cumberland, Md.; Maxine Lois, a Junior at High School; Ruth Louise, eight years; Dorothy Evelyn Jean, three years. Mr. Tewell is Pay Roll Clerk and Stenographer, Rockhill Coal and Iron Company.
