State Highway Department: The name of Willoughby needs no introduction, and especially none to Huntingdon residents. Jack Murica Willoughby was born at Huntingdon, Pa., First Ward. He is a son of Frank Willoughby, who for many years was identified with the J. C. Blair Manufacturing Co., He is now deceased. His wife before marriage was Sarah E. Morrison. Jack Willoughby attended the Huntingdon grade and high schools, receiving his diploma in 1903, and for a long period of time was with J. R. and W. B. Simpson, Insurance, with offices at Huntingdon, Pa. He has served on the election board, and believes in the principles of the Republican party; a member of the Presbyterian church of Huntingdon, Pa. His brothers are: E. A. Willoughby, Altoona, Pa.; W. D. Willoughby, Altoona, Pa.; C. D. Willoughby, Huntingdon, Pa.; C. H. Willoughby, Huntingdon, Pa. Sisters are: Mrs. A. B. Waite, Huntingdon, Pa.; Mrs. C. W. Bird, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. R. S. Allen, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Mrs. W. S. Tyson; she is deceased. At present Mr. Willoughby is with the clerical department connected with the State Highway Department. Mr. Willoughby is quiet, well mannered man, and well adapted to this, his chosen profession.
