F. WILSON South Huntingdon, Pa. Retired: W. F. Wilson was born on the third farm from Petersburg, in Logan township, August 11, 1860. A son of A. J. Wilson, who owned a farm of one hundred and ten acres; he was a farmer practically all his life; died in 1884 at the age of forty-six years, and of Margaret (Port) Wilson, who died in 1921 at the age of eighty-one years. W. F. Wilson was born on a farm; remained on the farm until he was twenty- seven years of age; he attended the township schools. He was a farmer in Blair county for seven years; a foreman of hostlers at Saxton, Pa., for three years; in the meantime he had a teachers' certificate; he was a fireman for thirteen years, of which ten years were at Everett, Pa. He was a passenger engineer for twenty years on the H. and B.T.R.R.; he has had a railroad service of forty-six years. He has been retired since August 3, 1929. He lived at Bedford, Pa., for seven years; he was one year an engineer at Bedford, Pa. He is a member of the First Methodist Church, Huntingdon, Pa. He belongs to the Masonic fraternity, Everett, No. 425; has been a member for thirty-six years. He is a Republican. Has one brother, J. S., deceased, at the age of forty-nine years; one sister, Martha, was married to George Sheperd, Maumee, Ohio, an auto dealer; one sister deceased, Margery, who died at the age of sixty-two years. W. F. Wilson was married to Clara Potter, a daughter of Wesley and Mary Potter; she died May 1, 1928, from a complication of diseases. Three daughters of this union: Jennie, married to Benjamin Fouse, a mechanical instructor at the Pennsylvania Industrial Reformatory; they live at South Huntingdon, Pa.; Martha E., married to Cloy Hetrick, with the Shipping Department, J. C. Blair Stationery Company, Huntingdon, Pa.; Anna M., married to Paul Moore, a truck driver, Tyrone, Pa. Note: Andrew J. Wilson, 41, Margaret Wilson, 40, William F. Wilson, 20, Margarie Wilson, 17, John S. Wilson, 15, and Martha Wilson, 6, are listed in the 1880 Woodbury Township, Blair County census.
