Charles Fishburn Zimmerman was born at Duncannon, Pa.; preliminary education at Duncannon; parents deceased. Higher education, Lafayette College. A Princeton University man; graduated in 1900. Has been President of the First National Bank, Huntingdon, Pa., since 1926. He was Treasurer of the Steelton Trust Company, Steelton, Pa., from 1907 to 1912; Treasurer of the Lebanon Count Trust Company, Lebanon, Pa., 1912 to 1926; Secretary Pennsylvania Bankers' Association since 1921. Never aspired to county or borough office, although he was Secretary of the Steelton Borough School District, 1909 to 1912. A Mason, Robert Burns Lodge, Harrisburg, Pa. Assistant teacher New Era Bible Class. Prefers the Republican party in politics. Has one brother, S.S. Zimmerman, Harrisburg, Pa. Sisters are: Mrs. William A. Snyder, Harrisburg, Pa., and Mrs. E. A. Rosborough, Rockford, Ill. Charles Fishburn Zimmerman married Eleanor Hinckley. To this union were born these children: Charles H. Zimmerman, Bank Examiner, State Banking Department, Harrisburg, Pa.; Edward Bailey Zimmerman, student, Mercersburg Academy; Eleanor Graydon Zimmerman, student, Huntingdon High School. Mr. Zimmerman belongs to the Rotary Club, Huntingdon, Pa, and is a valued member. In financial affairs a well versed man.
