Abstracted from tombstones by: Ellis Michaels Directions: from Huntingdon, PA, travel Rt. 22 East. Turn slight right onto 655 South. Follow 655 into Mapleton, and under bridge. After bridge make right onto Main Street. At stop sign, turn right onto Callohill. Cemetery is about 40 yards on right. Cemetery has monument that reads: 'Site of the first United Brethren Church in Mapleton erected in 1861. The first class was organized in 1852 and met in school houses prior to its erection. This one-half acre plot is also the first and only cemetery in the borough. Marker placed October 18, 1953.'
