Know ye that I Edward Boteler of Washington County and State of Maryland for the Considerations (Shave) already received and in Considerations of the residue of the first purchase money here To ___ unpaid bring one hundred and fifty Pounds lawful Money of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I this day have bargained sold set over and confirmed and by these presents do give Grant Bargain sell & set over unto Phillip Curtman of said County & State all and singular the Rights, priviledge and appurtenances of in and to a certain Tract or parcel of Land lying and Being in Huntingdon County and State of Pennsylvania Hopewell Township on Big Trough Creek called Morgana, Beginning at a White oak thence by Lands of Jennet W Clelland North Eighty two degrees West one hundred & three perches, then Sough Eighteen degrees West two hundred and Nineteen perches, then South forty Eight Degrees East Eighty Eight perches then North forty four Degrees East one hundred and twenty five perches, North five Degrees West one hundred and Twenty two perches to the place of Beginning containing one hundred and ____ seven acres of Land more or less agreeable to patent Issued out of the Land Office of the state Pennsylvania bearing date the Sixth day of December Seventeen hundred and Eighty Six. And I the said Edward Boteler for myself heirs Executors Administrators and assigns Do Covenant grant and agree and with the said Phillip Curtman his heirs assigns that I the said Edward Boteler am at this time fullsiezed of the said Land and all and every of the Privilidges and appurtenances thereunto belonging saving only the Rents due to Lord of the soil and his su___as and the Mority Royal Miner as is a rend in the Patent aforesaid and the said Edward Boteler do covenant grant and agree to and with said Phillip Curtman that further I will warrant and Defend to the said Phillip Curtman his heirs and assigns forever all and singular the Land & premises herein granted from all and every person or persons Lawfully Claiming or to Claim the said demand premises from by or under me my Heirs or assigns under the Covenant heretofore _____ssed. In Witnewss Whereof I have hereunto set my _ and Seal this Twenty ninth Day of October Seventeen hundred and Eighty Eight - - Sealed and Delivered in the presence of Edward Boteler seal us, the Word "Huntingdon" in the first line an Being first interlined Thomas D Smith, Jonathan Priestly.
