All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ________________________________________________ David Johnston & Wife to Leonard Hartline Deed Written: January 5, 1814 This Indenture made and concluded on the fifth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen by and between David Johnston and Catharine his wife of the one part and Leonard Hartline of the other part all of Franklin twp Huntingdon county commonwealth of Pennsylvania Witneseth that the said David Johnston and Catherine his wife of the township county and commonwealth aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars to them in hand paid by the said Leonard Hartline the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained granted and sold and by there presents have bargained granted and sold release convey and confirm unto him the said Leonard Hartline his heirs and asigns forever that Tract or piece of Land whereon the said David Johnston now dwells situate in the Township county and commonwealth aforesaid beginning at a post thence by Land of William Kerr north sixty degrees west seventy five perches and one tenth to a pine seventy four degrees west one hundred and eighty seven perches to a post south fifty eight degrees west two hundred and forty perches to a pine thence by land of George Thompson south sixty nine perches to a pine thence by Land of John Hostler and others to the place of beginning containing one hundred and ninety three acres and fifteen perches and the usual allowance of six pr cent for oads with all and singular the houses barns and buildings ways watters and woods rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtainanton by Warrant dates the 24th September 1810 which was confirmed to the sd David Johnston by pattent from the commonwealth of Pennsylvania dated the 21 day of May 1811.
