All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm __________________________________________ Town of Duncansville Written: January 13, 1840 Recorded: August 10, 1840 Huntingdon County PA Deed Book D-2 page 522 David Koon and wife to Samuel Koon This Indenture made the thirteenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and forty between David Koon of Allegheny Township in the County of Huntingdon and state of Pennsylvania and Margaret his wife of the first part and Samuel Koon of Frankstown Township County and state aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth that the said David Koon for and consideration of the sum of twenty five dollars lawful money of the United States of America well and truly paid by the said party of the second part before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release convey and confirm unto the party of the second part his heirs and assigns all the lot of ground situate in town of Duncansville, Frankstown Township aforesaid being on the southside of the turnpike on Main Street and fronting on said street fifty feet and extending back at right angles one hundred feet to the Allegheny Portage Railroad and marked number 1 in the plan of said town as laid out and marked on the ground by Jacob Walter decd. Recorded in the office for recording of deeds in and for the county of Huntingdon, recorded in Book V page 15 being part of the same lot of ground which was deed lawfully executed by Jacob Walters conveyed to Jacob Weaver, who together with his wife Margaret by assignment endorsed on deed dated the twelfth day of February A. D. 1834 conveyed the same to said David Kuhn party hereto. Together with all and singular the buildings improvements, ways, water, water-courses, rights liberties, privilege, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever whereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever. To have and to hold the said premises as above described hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second par, his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. and the said parties of the first part for their heirs, executors and administrators do by these presents covenant grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that they the said parties of the first part their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against them the said parties of the first part and their heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof by, from, through or under them shall and will warrant and forever defend. In Witness whereof the said parties of the first part have to these presents set their hands and seals dated the day and year first above written.
