All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm __________________________________________ Deed Book D-2 p. 568 Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania JAMES LEE & WIFE TO JOHN LEE This Indenture made this seventeenth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty five, by and between James Lee of Hopewell township in the County of Huntindgon and State of Pennsylvania and Rachael his wife of the one part and John Lee of Warriormark township in said county and State of the other part, Witnesseth that the said James Lee and Rachel his wife for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and twenty five dollars lawful money of the United States to them paid, or given, or secured to be paid and given, by the said John Lee, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, & sold, aliened, released and confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell, alien release and confirm unto the said John Lee and his heirs and do assign all the following described tract and parcel of land situate and lying in the said township of Hopewell in the County of Huntingdon, State aforesaid to wit; all that certain tract or parcel of land situate & lying in Woodcock Valley in said township of Hopewell bounded by land of John Hoover, Abraham Zimmerman, William Steel Esquire and other lands of the said James Lee, supposed to contain about eighty three acres, be the same more or less, with the usual allowance for roads, etc. (Being all that same tract & parcel of land which Azariah Sackett Executor of the last will & testament of Elizabeth Fearis, commonly called Elizabeth Lee, heretofore by his deeds as executor aforesaid, bearing the date the twelfth day of Augus A.D. eighteen hundred and thirty one, granted and conveyed unto the said James Lee party hereto, except between three & four acres thereof which the said James Lee had heretofore granted and conveyed unto the said Abraham Zimmerman.) Together with all and singular the buildings and improvements, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and remainders, rents issues and profits thereof. To have and to hold the said above described parcel and tract of land supposed to contain about eighty three acres be the same more or less, with the usual allowance etc. hereditaments and premises hereby granted and conveyed and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said John Lee his heirs and assigns, to & for the only. . . .
