The Huntingdon Gazette Thursday December 18, 1806 December 18, 1806

   James Jamison, and James McGowan, who were,
apprehended and committed to Jail, in Harrisburg,
in September last, for the murder of Jacob Eshelman;
had their trial on the 6th instant--found guilty, and
received the awful sentence of Death! The day of
execution remains yet to be fixed upon.
