MARTHA ACKER Mrs. Martha Acker, wife of George W. Acker, of 1002 Mifflin street, died in the Blair Memorial hospital on Monday afternoon at 4:30, having been in poor health for the past year and from an operation submitted to in a Philadelphia hospital about the first of January last. Mrs. Acker had been [a resident] of Huntingdon for fifteen years, during which time her husband had been an employee of the Pennsylvania Industrial Reformatory. Surviving beside him is an only son, Isaac, and the following brothers and sisters: Martin Prough, of Arch Springs; Jesse Prough, of Grafton; Mrs. Watson Dean, Mrs. James S. Steele, David, Lloyd, Benjamin, Levi and William Prough, all of Huntingdon. Mrs. Acker was a devoted member of the Lutheran church. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2.30 in the church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. F. R. Wagner. Interment was made in Riverview cemetery.
