Daniel Africa

  Daniel Africa, the oldest male resident of Huntingdon, died at the 
residence of his daughter, Mrs. Catharine Foster, 1008 Mifflin street, 
at 9.25 o'clock Sunday morning from diseases incident to old age.  He 
was the youngest son of Jacob Africa, who came to Huntingdon from 
Hanover, York county, 106 years ago, and was born near Sixth and 
Mifflin streets, on the 9th of May, 1811, so that at the time of his 
death he was 90 years, 7 months and 20 days old.
