EMELINE AYERS A Former Tyrone Resident Died at Warrior Ridge, Saturday. On Saturday noon Mrs. Emeline Ayres, a former resident of Tyrone, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel Dickson, at Warrior Ridge. Mrs. Ayres who was aged 84 years suffered a stroke of paralysis about ten days ago and since then her conditions has been critical, until the end came on Saturday. For a number of years Mrs. Ayres was a nurse in Tyrone and many of the older people knew her quite well. While here a year or so ago she made her home with Mrs. W. O. Brindle on Washington avenue. Mrs. Ayres was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Logan. She is survived by the following children; Mrs. Samuel Dickson, of Warrior Ridge, Mrs. Maggie Moyer, of Cannonsburg; Mrs. Lizzie Lytle, of Portland, Oregon. Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Samuel Dickson on Tuesday at 12 o’clock. The body was brought to the Arch Spring cemetery for interment.
