Bard, 63, of Cave Hill Drive, Three Springs, died Tuesday evening, April 15, at the Huntingdon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Huntingdon. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 20, at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, with Pastor Dan Long officiating. Interment was made in Saltillo Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m.-9 p.m., on Saturday and one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Mr. Bard was born August 28, 1944 in Shirleysburg. He was married to Donna K. Reed on December 2, 1962 at Three Springs. Mrs. Bard survives at their home. He is survived by two sons and one daughter: Jeffrey C. Bard and wife, Sarah of Saltillo; Deborah J. Bard of Three Springs and Steven W. Bard of Three Springs. There are five grandchildren: Shannon Bard; Levi Bard; Lex Bard; Will Ramsey and Samantha Ramsey. Mr. Bard served as a Clay Township supervisor for over 20 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Huntingdon; Sons of the American Legion; Mapleton, and the Pennsylvania Farmers Association. Mr. Bard was the owner/operator of Mapleton Farm and Garden Center, Mapleton. Mr. Bard was also a dairy farmer. He was very fond of his family, especially his grandchildren.
