Mrs. Elizabeth Flenner Beaver, widow of the late F. O. Beaver, the well known marble dealer, died very suddenly at her home 600 Church street on Sunday morning at 5:30. Deceased was the daughter of Daniel and Catharine Flenner and was born near McConnellstown more than 78 years ago. She came to Huntingdon when quite a young girl, where most of her life was spent. She was united in marriage to F. O. Beaver in Huntingdon on Dec. 6, 1864, by the Rev. Job Price, a minister in this place at that time. Mrs. Beaver was well known and was a highly respected woman; she was a great reader and always well-informed on the leading topics of the day. She was a consistent member of the Methodist church in which faith she died. She is survived by one son, George D. Beaver and one daughter, Mrs. Ida C., the wife of A. D. Baker, both of whom live near by and always looked after the welfare of their beloved mother. Funeral services were conducted at her late home on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by the Rev. D. E. Masters of the Reformed church and Rev. F. R. Wagner of the Lutheran church.
