(McCrory) Bilger 38-Year-Oid Woman, Mother Of Nine, Dies A 38-year-old Mount Union, R.D., woman, mother of nine children, seven of whom are at home, died unexpectedly at her home early Sunday morning. The woman, Mrs. Mary L. Bilger, passed away at 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 17, 1955. The deceased was born September 9, 1916, in Cambria County, a daughter of James and Laura (McKee) McCrory. She was united in marriage to Fred Bilger on August 1, 1933, at Frederick, Maryland. Mrs. Bilger was a member of the Otella Mennonite Church. Mr. and Mrs. Bilger first resided in Black Log Valley, and moved to their present home in 1942. Her husband and these children survive: James A. of the U. S. Army; Dennis E. of New York City; and Barbara, John, Ruth, Nellie, Lee, Joyce and Carl, all at home. Two sisters. Mrs. Herman Anderson of Saudi Arabia and Mrs. Frank Pannebaker of Upper Darby, also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20, at 2 p.m. in the Clark Funeral home in Mount Union. The Reverend Leroy Zook, her pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in the IOOF Cemetery at Mount Union.
