Black, of Philadelphia died after a nine week's illness of the liver, aged 70 years. He was employed in the car record office of the Pennsylvania Railroad in that city, to which place he had removed from Mt. Union, Pa., where he was engaged in teaching school and also was in the office of the East Broadtop Railroad. He was a native of Perry Co., and was buried in Duncannon, Pa.
