Booher, 79, of Orbisonia, died at 11:37 p.m., Sunday, January 6, at the Woodland Retirement Center, Orbisonia. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 9, at the Martin Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia, with Rev. Darrel Nicklow officiating. Interment was made at Orbisonia Cemetery. She was born on July 11, 1928 in Tell Township, Huntingdon, and she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Hannah (Vaughn) Goshorn. She was married to Paul D. Booher on December 19, 1947 at Winchester, Va. Mr. Booher survives at their home. Mrs. Booher is survived by two daughters: Connie Spangenberg, Harrisburg and Ruth Ann Leonard and husband, Joseph of Lancaster. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Kevin Spangenberg; Crystal Crawford and David Leonard and four great grandchildren; Cameron Crawford; Chase Crawford; Isabella Leonard and Victoria Leonard. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Eugene Goshorn of Neelyton; George Goshorn of Neelyton; Galen Goshorn of Greenville, TN; Ruth Cook of Fayetteville and Hilda Hall of New Cumberland. One sister, Evelyn Arndt, preceded in death. Mrs. Booher was a member of the Orbisonia Church of the Nazarene, where she served on various committees and boards over the years. She graduated from Orbisonia High School in the Class of 1946. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Paul's Market, Orbisonia, for many years. She was also a homemaker.
