She was born September 16, 1916 in Graysville, the daughter of Edmund K. and Anna Lysle (Shank) Woomer. On December 28, 1942 in Graysville, she married Roy M. Bresler, who survives. She is also survived by three sons: Dale Bresler of Pennsylvania Furnace, Scott Bresler of Leesburg, Virginia and Stephen Bresler of Rancho Santa Margarita, California; three grandchildren; two great- granddaughters; three sisters: Louise Henry of Franklinville, Enid Peiffer and Georgia Schell, both of State College and one brother John Woomer of Pennsylvania Furnace. She was a life long active member of the Upper Spruce Creek Presbyterian Church in Graysville, serving as a Sunday school teacher and Elder. She was a 1937 graduate of Indiana State Teacher's College and taught at both Warriors Mark and Bellefonte High Schools. Funeral services will be held June 23, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Upper Spruce Creek Presbyterian Church, Graysville, with Rev. John Diller officiating. Place of burial is Graysville Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cox Funeral Home and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Tyrone Daily Herald, June 20, 2006
