C. Blair Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past year and a patient in the hospital for the past four weeks. She was born January 22, 1893, in Altoona, a daughter of John Philip and Effie (Chilcote) Bonsell. She was married to Charles E. Brown on June 28, 1917, in the parsonage at Arch Springs by Reverend Walter Harnish. Surviving are her husband and three sons, Clarence E. Brown and D. Kenneth Brown, both of Huntingdon and Charles L. Brown, of Salisbury, Maryland. There are four grandchildren. Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Carl Bonsell of Huntingdon, John and Gerald Bonsell, both of Spruce Creek; Norman Bonsell of Lewisberry, Joseph Bonsell of Tyrone; Charles (Alma) Alley of Alexandria; Mrs. Earl (Mirrel) Smith of York, and Robert (Dorothy) Woodring of Spruce Creek. One sister and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12, at 2 p.m. from the Haverstock Memorial Home. The Reverend William B. Payne and the Reverend Stewart Kauffman will officiate. Interment will be made in the Huntingdon Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received at the Haverstock Memorial Home on Thursday evening. It was the request of the deceased that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntingdon County for Crippled Children and Adults or the Huntingdon County Unit, American Cancer Society.
