On Monday 23d. ult., in Dauphin, Pa., at the residence of her parents, Julia, eldest child of A. H. and C. M. Bumbaugh, aged 18 years. [The deceased was a native of this borough, where she has left many warm and sincere friends to mourn her early death. She enjoyed her usual good health up to within twenty-four hours of her death, when she was prostrated by disease, and summoned to a better and brighter world than this to enjoy the society of those who have "washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." Truly, death loves a shining mark. This sad bereavement falls heavily upon her parents, and we can only point them to Him who drieth the mourners' tears, and whose providence will be made plain hereafter.] Huntingdon Journal and American, Wednesday, April 1, 1863
