RUTH N. CARSON

  In loving memory of Ruth N. (Anderson) Carson, who was born Sept. 26, 
1917 at Spruce Creek.
  She entered eternal rest on Friday, Dec. 26 in Hagerstown, Md.
  She is survived by four daughters, Sara Cathern, Cordilia, Mildred 
and Ruth Ann, and foster daughter Mary Thatcher.
  Also surviving are two sisters, Jessica Woods of Tyrone and Beulah 
Irvin of Tyrone; two brothers, William (Bill) Anderson of Huntingdon 
and Harvey Anderson of Spruce Creek.
  She was preceded in death by a husband, Ardys Carson; three sisters, 
Helen Loose, Iva Anderson and June Anderson; and two brothers, Roy 
Anderson and Stuart Anderson.
  Interment was made on Monday, Dec. 29, 2003 at 11 a.m. at Amaranth 
Church of Brethren Cemetery in Artemath, Pennsylvania.
  Services were officiated by Rev. Freeman A. Smair and Rev. Frank 
Teeter.
