CARTER

  Mrs. Bessie Pollock Carter died at her home in Mount Union, on 
Sunday, Oct. 27, . . . pneumonia.  She is survived by her husband, John 
Carter, and one daughter, Anna, aged about two years.  She is also 
survived by her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. D. E. Pollock, of 1421 
Washington street, Huntingdon.  One sister, Mrs. James Kyle, three 
brothers, Warren and Paul, of Huntingdon, and Earl, in the service in 
France.  Funeral services were conducted at her late home by the Rev. 
Haines of Huntingdon.
