Miss Edna Clemens died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Charles Morningstar, of 400 Second street, at 6:45 o'clock on Saturday after a lingering illness of the past year with tuberculosis. She was a daughter of Joseph Clemens, deceased, and Mrs. Sarah Clemens, of Marklesburg, and was born on August 25, 1889, at Hopewell, Bedford county. At the time illness overtook her she was an esteemed employee of the J. B. Kunz company. She is survived beside the mother and sister mentioned, by one brother, Joseph Clemens, of 800 Third street. Short funeral services were held at the residence, 400 Second street, at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon, after which the cortege left on the Huntingdon and Broad Top train for Marklesburg where further services were conducted by the same pastor, the Rev.
