All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/huntingon/ _______________________________________________ WILLIAM BOYD COFFMAN William Boyd Coffman, a former resident of Huntingdon, and a freight brakeman on the P.R.R., was killed near his home in Swissvale on the last Thursday while on duty. He was the son of John and Mary Coffman (the former deceased), of 1625 Mifflin street, and was aged about 46 years. He was a highly esteemed man and will be greatly missed in Swissvale, where he has resided for the past seven years. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. A. L. Freed and Charles Coffman, of Swissvale; Myrtle, Donald, Belle, Mildred and Thelma, all at home. He is also survived by his mother, four sisters and one brother: Mrs. William Winter, of Middletown; Mrs. Carl E. Wilson, Mrs. Pearl Warfel, Mrs. Grace Coffman and Blair Coffman, all of Huntingdon. The body was brought to Huntingdon on Saturday and taken to the home of his mother, Mrs. Coffman, where services were conducted on Sunday at 4 p.m. by the Rev. J. H.
