LEROY COLLINS

  Leroy Landis Collins died in the Blair Memorial hospital on Friday morning, 
of pneumonia.  He was taken ill on December 19 at C. L. Stewart's home at 
Union Furnace where he was living and two weeks ago he was brought to the 
hospital.  He was a son of J. L. Collins, of 1413 Mifflin street, and Mrs. 
Sarah Collins, deceased.  He was born on October 5, 1906, in Altoona where he 
lived until one and one-half years ago.  He is survived by his father and 
step-mother, Mrs. Gertrude Brown Collins; also by one sister, Elda Collins, 
of Altoona; two brothers, Samuel Collins in U.S. service and Lloyd Collins of 
Huntingdon.  Funeral services were held at the residence Sunday afternoon at 
2:30, with interment in Riverview cemetery.
