M. shabodeho@aol.com October 23, 2010, 8:40 pm Daily News, Huntingdon 3/23/1935 Daily News, Huntingdon 3/23/1935 Mrs. Josephine Colony Mrs. Josephine Marcelette Colony, wife of Charles W. Colony died this morning at 2:45 o'clock at her home, 1015 Pike street, South Huntingdon, after an illness of three days. Death was due to cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Colony was born in Richmond, Virginia, on February 11, 1852, the daughter of Junius and Catherine (Neaby) Colony and at the time of death, was aged 83 years, 1 month and 12 days. She was a member or the First M. E. Church. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Guy H. Colony at home and Fay E. Colony of Lemoyne, Pa. She is also survived by two grandsons, Guy W. Colony, Jr. and Mr. Docy Whorley, both of Lemoyne. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. E. L. Davidson. Interment will be made in Riverview cemetery.
