MARGARET GROVE COPLIN, died at her home in Williamsport, Pa., Thursday, Nov. 24, 1904, after a brief illness of about thirty two hours. Her health had been some what impaired by times of late years but not considered dangerous. Mrs. Coplin was born in Penn township, Huntingdon county, March 17, 1842, where she grew to womanhood and was married to Richard Coplin. After a few years they located at Williamsburg [sic], Pa., where Mr. Coplin was engaged in the lumbering business. Mr. Coplin was a member of the Third Presbyterian church and its various organization of that city and cheerfully performed every Christian duty and endeared herself to a host of friends. She leaves to mourn her loss a kind and affectionate husband, one brother, Jacob S. Grove, Jeannette, Pa.; and two sisters Mrs. Polly Norris of near Cassville, Pa., and Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, Alteh, Pa. Funeral services took place from their late residence, 1127 Vine St., Sunday Nov. 27 at 2:30 p.m. conducted by her pastor the Rev. Armstrong. Mrs. Coplin was an aunt of John D. and E. D.
