Joseph Corrie
U. S. Army Veteran

Joseph Corrie, 86, of HCR 1, Box 48, Broad Top, died unexpectedly 
Sunday, March 14, 1999, at J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon.  
Born April 10, 1912, in Asseigi, Italy, he was the son of Tony and 
Angela Corrie.  He married Orlena Hennessey in 1935, in Hagerstown, MD.  
He is survived by a stepson, Ronnie Hennessey of Middletown.  Four 
step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren survive.  Mr. Corrie 
is survived by the following siblings:  Quinton Corrie,

He was a member of the Trough Creek Valley Community Church, the 
American Legion of Broad Top City and the Disabled American Veterans.  
He worked in the coal mines and for the government of Homestead Air 
Force Base.
