All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ________________________________________________ DIES FROM INJURIES Walter Cramer, who formerly was employed at the Aetna explosives works but since it closed had begun to sell wood from the pinmill at Mount Union, using one horse and a wagon, on last Tuesday sustained an unfortunate accident from which he died in the Blair Memorial hospital Friday at midnight. His horse scared at the dinkey engine of the Harbison-Walker brick plant, and he was thrown from the high wagon seat, striking with his abdomen across a log. Thereafter the physician could secure no movement of the bowels. He was brought to the hospital on Friday evening, but died almost before necessary treatment could be decided upon. He was aged 24 years and leaves a young wife whom he recently married. The body was taken to Mount Union. Altoona Tribune, Tuesday morning, February 18, 1919, page 7
