He had been ill the past year. He was born in Amberson Valley on February 17, 1865, a son of William and Mary Ellen (Reed) Cramer. He was united in marriage to Miss Mary Fogal in 1885 and the couple established their first home at Neelyton, where he followed his occupations of carpenter and blacksmith. In 1906 they moved to Allenport. Mrs. Cramer passed away in 1916, and for the past five years he had made his home with his son, Clinton Cramer, near Newton Hamilton. He was a member of the Allenport Methodist Church. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Keturah Horne and Mrs. Olive Mentzer of Mount Union, R.D., Mrs. Dean Price, Thomas Cramer and Josiah Cramer, all of Allenport, Harvey Cramer of Kistler, Mrs. Orris Brown of Madden sville, and Clinton Cramer of Newton Hamilton, R.D. One brother, Dyson Cramer of Kistler, along with 46 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great- grandchildren, also survives. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Clark's Funer al Home in Mount Union with the Rev. Frank Crawford officiating. Interment will be made in the Mount Union I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
