LOCAL AND PERSONAL.

  Rev. Frederick E. Crever, a superannuated minister of the Central 
Pennsylvania Conference of the Methodist Episcopal church, while 
building a platform around a pump at the barn near his residence, two 
miles from Shrewsbury, fell backward and broke his neck, killing him 
instantly.  In 1854 he was stationed on the Warriorsmark circuit.  He 
was a brother of the venerable Rev. B. H. Crever, D.D., of Petersburg, 
this county.  Deceased leaves a wife and two children to mourn his 
loss.
