Cupp, of Warriors Mark RD, died Sunday at 9:25 p.m. at the Altoona Hospital, where he had been a patient since Dec. 27. He was born Feb. 8, 1913, at Tyrone, a son of Frank and Blanche Beyer Cupp. He was married February 9, 1935, at Altoona to Alice Roberta Ellenberger. He is survived by his wife, one son, James F., and one daughter, Mrs. James (Judy) Henninger, both of Warriors Mark, five grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Alfred (Thelma) Simpson and Mrs. Fred (Betty) Harpster, both of State College, and Mrs. Daniel (Joyce) Kephart, of Brisbin. He was a member of Dungarvin Methodist Church and of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, the Warriors Mark Fire Co., the Tyrone Sportsmen's Association, and the Cartwright Hunting Club. He was retired on disability in 1973, as an engineer on the Middle Division of the Pennsylvania Railroad after 32 years service. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark, with the Rev. Clarence Beckwith officiating. Interment will be at Ross Church Cemetery, Marengo. Friends will be received at the Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
