Charles L. Curfman 

Charles L. Curfman, 75, of HCR 1, Cassville, died at 2 a.m., Saturday, 
September 16, at his home. Funeral services was held on Tuesday, September 19 
at the Trough Creek United Methodist Church, Todd, with Rev. Donald Henderson, 
Rev. James Thomas and Gary Hagans officiating. Interment was made at Trough 
Creek Cemetery. He was born November 20, 1930 in Clay Township, Huntingdon 
County. He was a son of the late Walter and Grace (Cutshall) Curfman. Mr. 
Curfman was married to the former Dorothy A. Edwards on August 6, 1955. Mrs. 
Curfman survives at their home. He is surviving by the following children: 
Evelyn Conner and her husband, Richard of RD, Cassville; Stanley Curfman and 
his wife Lisa of Milroy; Etta Jane Bard and her husband Clair of Mill Creek; 
and Steven Curfman and his wife Shawnee of RD, Cassville. Also surviving are 
the following six grandchildren: Jason Conner, Jessica Krause, Sarah Curfman, 
Tinesha Curfman; Cory Curfman and Levi Charles Curfman and four great-
grandchildren: Courtney Krause, Brooke Krause, Alex Conner and Jonathan Krause. 
The following brothers and sister survive: Clair Curfman of Todd; Freda Runk of 
Broad Top; Fred Curfman of Todd and Walter Lee Curfman of Hustontown. Mr. 
Curfman retired from the PA Bureau of Forestry as a forest fire inspector. He 
was also a forest fire warden and was engaged in farming. He was a member of 
the Trough Creek United Methodist Church, Todd and the Trough Creek Valley 
Volunteer Fire Co. The Valley Log, Orbisonia, PA, September 20, 2006
