Daughenbaugh one of the oldest residents of Orbisonia and a Civil War Veteran passed away at his home on Ridgley street, Orbisonia, Tuesday morning. He was the son of Jacob and Rachel Bruce Daughenbaugh and was born at Warriors Mark, Pa. He has been a resident of Orbisonia about 40 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Isabelle Daughenbaugh and the following children: William of Rockhill Furnace, Pa ; Harry of Chicago, Ill.; and Mrs. Charles Beatty, of Orbisonia, Pa.; and one niece, Miss Maud Daughenbaugh, of Washington, D. C. He was a member of the United Brethren Church. Funeral Services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home and at 2.00 o'clock at the United Brethren Church. A military tribute will be paid him by his fellow comrades from the Grand Army of the Republic, and members of the American Legion Youthful veterans of the World War will act as pallbearers. The service will be conducted by Rev. Thompson. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery at Orbisonia, W. P. Dunmire, funeral director. Daily News, Huntingdon, Pa., November 26, 1924
