DAVIS.

  Mrs. Christiana Davis, an esteemed resident of Spruce Creek valley, 
died at ?.20 p.m. Oct. 24, aged 83 years, 6 months and 8 days.  She was 
the wife of Thomas Davis, who preceded her to the grave thirteen years 
ago.  She was a life-long member of the Presbyterian church.  She is 
survived by the following children: Edward, Mrs. T. C. Peterson, Mrs. 
H. W. Henderson and Miss Mary, all of Spruce Creek, Miss Christine, Orr 
L. and Scott, of Colerain and ?thal of Warriorsmark.  One sister, Mrs. 
?. K. Madden of Philadelphia, also survives as do eight grandchildren.  
Private services will be held this afternoon.  Interment at 
Franklinville.
