LOCAL AND PERSONAL.

  Scott Davis, son of Mr. James H. Davis, of Waterstreet, died on 
Friday last, of dropsy, after an illness of several months, in the 
nineteenth year of his age.  Mr. Davis has been sorely afflicted, the 
Death Angel having thrice entered his home during the year and carried 
off his wife and two sons.  We sympathize with our friend in his sad 
bereavement.
