Loraine A. Dean
Employed by Elco Corp. for 28 years

  Loraine A. Dean, 58, of 14500 Hickory Drive, Mount Union, died at 
2:26 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2007, at the Harrisburg Community General 
Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg.  Born April 23, 1946, in Huntingdon, 
she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Violet (Rinker) Dean.  She was 
united in marriage to Peter L. "Pete" Swanger, who survives at their 
home.
  Mrs. Dean is survived by two daughters, Stacey Lee Dean, Mount Union, 
and Paul "Buffy" Brindle, Williamsburg, three grandchildren, Matthew 
Brindle and Deanna Brindle, both of Williamsburg, and Jacob Peter Lee 
Dean, Mount Union.
  She is also survived by a brother, Fern Dean, Mount Union.
  She was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Dean.
  Mrs. Dean was involved with the Bricktown Senior Citizens. 
  She was first employed at Elco Corp., Huntingdon, for 28 years, and 
then worked at FCI, Mount Union, for the past 11 years.
  Mrs. Dean was a graduate of Huntingdon Area High School.
  She enjoyed traveling, especially bus trips.
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, at the 
Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon, with the Rev. Myrna Speck 
officiating.  Interment will be made in the Huntingdon Memorial 
Gardens, Walker Township, Huntingdon.
  Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the hour of 
Tuesday's services.
