Those Who Have Crossed Over to the Other Shore. Mrs. Lydia Dead [sic] died at her residence in Juniata township, on the 2d inst., of paralysis, at the patriarchal age of 80 years, 10 months and 19 days. Deceased was the daughter [?] of the late Thomas Dean, of Juniata township, where she was born and where she resided all her life. She was the second oldest person in the township, and was highly respected and honored by all who knew her. For forty years she had been a consistent member of the Baptist church, and by her walk and conversation gave evidence that she was a faithful follower of the Master. Three sons and one daughter survive her, and if they but follow her teachings and example they will meet their sainted mother in that better land beyond.
