She was a 1999 honor graduate of Lewistown Area High School, where she was a member of the four time District 6 Championship Girls Basketball Teams and the 1996-97 and the 1997-98 State Championship Girls Basketball Teams. She was also a four-year member of the Lewistown Area High School Girls Soccer Teams, and a member of the National Honor Society. She was twice listed in the Who's Who Among American High School Students and was the 1999 WCHX outstanding girls basketball player for Mifflin County. She was Methodist by faith. She loved to draw and spend time with her friends. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McVeytown United Methodist Church, South Queen Street, McVeytown, with the Rev. Marian E. Yoder, 99, Valley View Haven, Belleville, formerly of Allensville, died at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at Lewistown Hospital. Born Oct. 8, 1900, in Kalona, Iowa, she was a daughter of the late Amos I. and Salome A. (Yoder) Yoder. Her husband, Thomas B. Yoder, died June 14, 1965. Surviving are: children, Richard L. His first wife, Emma Jane (Serfass) Duran, preceded him in death in 1975, and his second wife, Beatrice Duran, preceded him in death in 1993. He had worked at Atotech Corp. in State College for 20 years, retiring as supervisor in 1991. From 1964 to 1981, he had operated the Mountain View Cottages in Peters-burg and from 1955 to 1963, he operated the Dari Belle Drive Inn in Danville. Dr. Donald Cameron Malcolm, 91, of 511 Main St., Alexandria, died unexpectedly at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. Born Jan. 5, 1908, in Indiana, Pa., he was a son of the late Walter Younger and Sarah (Archibald) Malcolm. His wife, Phyllis M. (Lantzer) Malcolm, whom he married March 15, 1952, in Winchester, Va., survives. Also surviving are: children, Walter Y. Malcolm, Lewistown, Mrs. Gary (Mary Katherine) Fairchild, Lewisburg, and J. "Randy" Updyke, Charleston, S.C.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Malcolm, in 1946; and three brothers and two sisters, Douglas Malcolm, Harry Malcolm, W. He served his internship and residency at Mercy Hospital, Harlem, New York City, N.Y. He entered the U.S. Army as a captain in 1942. He served for a short time in military hospitals in the U.S. and then in London during the bombing campaign. He later joined the Fifth Armored Division, where he was in charge of a medical field unit during the invasion of France. He continued with this division until World War II ended in 1945. He was instrumental in the construction of the Juniata Valley Medical Center, which was completed in 1972. He was a staff physician at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. He retired from public practice in 1974, and saw his last patient Nov. 30, 1987. He was also team physician for the Juniata Valley athletic department. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Alexandria; the Pennsylvania Medical Society; the American Medical Society; the Juniata Valley Lions Club, where he was a charter member and past president; the Alexandria Sportsman's Association, where he had served as president and treasurer for a number of years; the Alexandria Volunteer Fire Company, where he had participated in the reorganization of the company in the late 1930s; the Juniata Valley School Board, where he had served as president and a member; and a former member of Blue Lodge F&AM No. 300, the Jaffa Mosque and Altoona Consistory. "Dee" Bark, 68, of Alexandria, Pa., died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown. Born June 2, 1931, in Philadel-phia, she was a daughter of the late Edmond L. and Agnes M. Bricker Seguin. On March 3, 1951, she married James J. Bark, who survives at home. She was a 1949 graduate of West Philadelphia Catholic High School. She worked in the mail room of the Admissions Office at Penn State for several years. She also worked at Mead Corp. in Alexandria, retiring in 1996 after more than 20 years of service. She was an active volunteer member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Huntingdon, where she also belonged to Cursilla and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She volunteered for many years at Juniata Valley in support of her children's activities. In addition to her husband, she is survived by six daughters, Theresa Showers, Deborah Hoffmaster, Madonna Bark, Jean Boyd, Joanne Thompson and Colleen Johnson; two sons, James J. Jr. and John; a sister, Patricia Machon; a brother, Edmond Seguin Jr.; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. An infant son, Gerard, preceded her in death.
